Back in December, I started a Book of the Month Club subscription, where you get to pick from 5 books a month. Every month so far has had some amazing choices, so I thought I would share what I ended up picking this month! (As you can see, I went a little overboard and ended up with 3 books…. oops?)
Chemistry by Weike Wang
This story follows an unnamed narrator through graduate school. As someone that is thinking of returning to school, this spoke to me. I’ve been looking for material on the graduate school journey, and while this may not be what I’m fully looking for, I’m excited to see what this book has to offer.
A Million Junes by Emily Henry
I’ll admit it – I’m a big fan of Shakespeare, and anything Shakespearean. When I saw that this was a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet, I had to see what it was all about.
And We’re Off by Dana Schwartz
A mother-daughter tale of traveling through Europe! When I read the synopsis of this book, I was beyond excited to read it. Hopefully it holds up.
As a bonus, we were going through my father in law’s basement, and Hubs stumbled upon a few books from high school. One of the books we took was Catcher in the Rye. I haven’t gotten a chance to read this yet, but I hear quite a few mixed reviews.
Keep an eye out for these on my Book club series. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to sink in to one soon!
