Tuesday night, I had a really bad craving for pizza. As we all know, pizza isn’t the best thing for you. Unfortunately, it’s one of the yummiest things! So on my way home from work, I stopped at the grocery store to see what I can find. As I was passing through the veggie section, I suddenly had a hankering for onion, green pepper and tomatoes. I grabbed those, and went on my merry way. I got my crust, sauce and cheese and was about to head home when I found my missing ingredient. Behold the ham and veggie pizza amazing-ness!
Ham and Veggie Pizza
100% Whole Wheat Boboli Pizza Crust
1 small onion
1 green pepper
1-3 roma tomatoes
1/3 cup pizza sauce (I used Presto veggie smart)
1 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese (part-skim, shredded)
1/3 cup diced ham
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Spread sauce on Boboli crust. Add chopped up veggies. Add ham. Cover in cheese. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
That’s it. Easy peasy, and super delicious! If you cut it up into 4 servings, it is 5 points + (3 points + for 6 servings). I hope you enjoy it! You can use leftover veggies in a side salad (because salad and pizza are amazing together!)
